Useful sites on interactive design. It seems just during the past four months, several exemplary examples have popped up.

A surprise to me when I found it was this first site. This site is a repository of interactive mini-sites is the most thoughtful I have ever found. The indexing is exhaustive and represents a complete understanding of the designer's need to take stock of all accounts. Each visitor is invited to add to the list their own favorite narrative. Certainly a resource that every designer of interactive minis must visit.

A similar site but in a much more stoic vein is this second web site. This site boasts to become the definitive guide to interface GUIs. It covers many examples from all major platforms and some that I'm sure only the initiated are aware existed. If there was any way that a book of these samples could convey the same character and impact as my electron blasting CRT, I'm sure the author would have made this a book.

This is a good point to introduce the next big idea that every interaction designer must be reading about right now. If you took some social science courses, then maybe this would be just the same old hat that repeats again and again. For graphic focused designers you may think of something else first, and will find this is even more interesting then you expected. A perfect repository for understanding interaction. If web sites were coal, then this site would be diamond. And since it's participatory by its very nature (a Wiki), it's better for your participation.
